For his contribution to the 8th Baltic Triennale in Vilnius, Lithuania, the artist sent a letter with questions concerning economics, politics, and culture to the Lithuanian president, Valdas Adamkus. Adamkus answered. Jankowski projected his responses, by means of a rotating light system, in different colors onto the walls of the exhibition space. The lighting fixtures had already been used in Lithuania’s pavilion at the World’s Fair in Hanover in 2000. Jankowski stumbled across the equipment in the basement of the museum where his work was shown.
