Jankowski’s music video for the Spanish rock band Fangoria’s Nadie mejor que tú (No one better than you) carries out a role reversal that shakes up the music business’s usual star system. He exchanged the synth rock band’s redhead singer Alaska for the blonde pop singer Sanchez, also a Spanish superstar. The gap between what’s seen and what’s heard encourages viewers to reflect on the mutability of images and the interchangeability of celebrity. Meanwhile, the work has traveled beyond the art world, becoming the song’s official music video.
